Free Light Bulbs and Heating grants

Since we ran details about the Warm Front scheme 12 months ago, we have been contacted by residents that have received money off their heating repairs and replacements.

Mrs T of Bartlow Gardens said “I had just turned 60 and was amazed to learn that I could get £300 of my boiler repairs, which were carried out by Boilerchange of Hornchurch. (For more information you can contact Ray Coomer of Boilerchange direct, on 01708 477 146)

If you are receiving benefits, you can claim up to £2,700 towards a new central heating system. Mr B of Collier Row said “It was only because I read about the scheme in the Residents Association newsletter that I knew about it, thanks very much as you have saved me a fortune”.
